Marg became a follower of Christ over 35 years ago, through the outreach efforts of a Scarborough Church. She has worked in the medical field as a Laboratory Technologist, owned and operated a Bed & Breakfast, served as a church administrator, and worked for a compassionate agency. Her involvement in each of these endeavours prepared her for this God ordained quest, building Bridges of Love. She appreciates her volunteer activities with the Billy Graham TV/TM and sits on the Advisory Committee with Attainable Homes Calgary (AHCC). She is the proud recipient of the Chamber of Volunteer Organizations, Innovative Award (2012), Queen Elizabeth 11 Diamond Jubillee Medal (2012) and the Prime Minister's Volunteer Social Innovator Award for the Prairies (2013). Marg and her husband, Tom of 43 years have 3 grown children and are very proud grandparents of Hannah, Jaxson and cousins Aliyah & Toby. J
Lois came to Calgary as a young child and she is proud to call Calgary home. Married with two adult children and four granchildren she holds a Bachelor Degree in Education. Lois has been a teacher for 21 years and is now a Principal for the Calgary Board of Education. With a Masters Degree in School Administration; her research was conducted in the field of school safety. She is pleased and humbled to be asked to serve on the board of directors for Bridges of Love. She feels this ministry is a new field of emergency preparedness which takes seriously the call to love our neighbour.
