OUR PROGRAMS

Are you prepared for a natural disaster? Whether it’s a wildfire, flood, or earthquake, the impact can be overwhelming, and local resources may be stretched thin. In these crucial moments, knowing how to take care of yourself and your loved ones is essential.

If you're unsure about your preparedness or need support, our programs are here to help.

Bridges of Love offers three key programs designed to meet these needs.

Let us help you build resilience and provide the support you need when it matters most.

Faith Emergency Preparedness Initiative (FEPI)

Is your church prepared to be a vital support in times of crisis? Our program is designed specifically for Christian Churches, developing an online database to collect 24-hour contact information, resources, facility and volunteer information. Before disaster strikes we use this data  to assist communities with greater speed and effectiveness to be ready to respond when a crisis occurs.  This ensures that assistance is delivered swiftly and effectively where it’s most needed. By working through the Faith Emergency Preparedness Initiative, your church can become a central hub for support and aid when disaster strikes.

‘We need bridges that balance public proclamation with congregational incarnation. Bridges that are suspended by the steel cables of the Great Commandment as well as the Great Commission.’ — Robert Lewis, The Church of Irresistible Influence"

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

Alberta Recovers

At Bridges of Love, we are proud to offer Alberta Recovers, our dedicated disaster recovery program designed to streamline community support in the wake of natural disasters.

Alberta Recovers is an innovative online platform where anyone in the community can easily contribute resources, facilities, food, and funds. By reaching out to us, donors can offer much-needed support, which we then match securely, with those who have a need.

This program ensures that vital donations are effectively allocated, enhancing our ability to respond to the immediate needs of affected individuals and families. Through Alberta Recovers, we harness the power of community generosity to accelerate recovery and rebuild lives in times of crisis without stockpiling a single item.
